DESCRIPTION: A stencil set including 6 design stencils, 3 tri-fold creature stencils, 8 pre-printed colouring scenes, 6 coloured pencils, paper pad, and a mask. Suitable for children aged 5 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: This is a fun little set to entertain your child and is fairly reasonably priced. It contains a set of colouring pencils and a range of different stencils, including three card stencils with animals, objects and patterns, and two plastic stencils with numbers, letters and symbols. There is also an additional plastic stencil which contains pop-out shape templates, and a ‘guide’ into which the shape templates can be rotated around using the slots provided to create more complex patterns.

The set also includes a generous pad of plain paper, along with eight pre-printed pages, four with background scenes and four with face templates, ready for your child to stencil onto. In addition to this, the kit comes with three tri-fold stencils. These are pieces of card which have been folded into three, with a central piece for your blank piece of paper to sit, and then mix and match head, body and leg stencils which fold down onto the paper from either side for you to create your own crazy creatures. There is also a fun colourful face mask for your child to wear which is part of the main boxing. The boxing itself is great for storing the stencils in, with a useful handle for easy transportation.

In all, a great quiet-time activity which is ideal for getting little imaginations going.

BAD POINTS: The majority of the stencils are card rather than plastic and so can easily be bent or damaged.
