The great feature of the Tween ReadyBed is that it is an inflatable all-in-one mattress, pillow and sleeping bag. The mattress (or rather air bed) is PVC, complete with a connecting pillow section and soft fabric cover with attached sleeping bag (which can be easily removed from the mattress for machine washing).

The bed needs to be filled with air prior to use, and an easy-to-use bellows pump is included which can be used to inflate the mattress (and pillow) quickly via a 'one-touch' valve. This valve is specially designed to prevent air from leaking out thanks to an internal flap that closes when the mattress is inflated. A handy tab also enables you to close the value manually if necessary, and an outer cap securely fits over the valve to make double-sure that no leakages occur. Note that deflating the bed is just as easy, and simply requires the valve flap to be pushed fully open and the bed to be rolled up to expel any remaining air.

Once pumped up, the ReadyBed provides a comfortable place for you child to lie, sleep or just chill out, and the warm cozy sleeping bag and integrated headrest eliminate the need for any separate or extra items of bedding. Access into and out of the sleeping bag is easy via a zip opening down the side, and the bed is a great size with plenty of length to accommodate your child for a good few years.

Furthermore, the mattress can be cleverly folded back on itself and clipped together with a buckle fastening on the side to create a padded seat (with the pillow forming the back rest). This is ideal for freeing up floor space during the day and also makes the perfect place for watching TV or doing a bit of reading.

Another great feature of the ReadyBed is its attached pull-out storage bag which (once the bed has been deflated) pulls over the headrest, with the rest of the bed folding compactly into it. There is even a helpful carry handle on the end of the bag for easy transportation by your child.

The Tween ReadyBed is, in our opinion, a great all-in-one package which provides a fun and comfortable sleeping arrangement for older children that is easy, versatile and convenient to use...sweet dreams!

BAD POINTS: It can be used for camping, although it will most likely require additional bedding to ensure your child stays warm throughout the night. The mattress can easily puncture.
