DESCRIPTION: A plastic tube containing beads which can be shaken or tipped to make a noise. Suitable for children aged 3 months upwards.
GOOD POINTS: This is a very colourful and attractive toy from ELC which is fascinating to even very young babies. It is a long Perspex tube sealed at each end with coloured caps, and filled with small multicoloured beads. The toy is divided into compartments with holes to let the beads fall from one section to another. As the beads fall down the toy they make a pleasant rain-like noise.
The toy is great for rolling along the floor, or for use as a rattle or musical instrument, and the fact that it is transparent allows your child to be kept entertained turning it over and watching and listening to the beads cascading down. It is a decent size for small hands to manage, and is ideal for visual and auditory stimulation as well as development of fine motor skills. The toy is an instant hit with babies and an excellent distraction tool.
