PRODUCT: Usborne - First Sticker Book: Garden ( First Sticker Book Garden

DESCRIPTION: A 16-page sticker book with a garden wildlife theme, including 8 further pages containing over 250 accessory stickers. One in a range of First Sticker books. Written by Caroline Young and illustrated by Benedetta Giaufret & Enrica Rusina. Suitable for children aged 3 years upwards.

GOOD POINTS: This is one in a lovely range of books with a garden wildlife theme, which includes a brilliant array of stickers that young children will love using to decorate the various themed pages.

Aimed at children of preschool age and above, each page/double page introduces your child to a different garden (or park) theme, with wonderful use of colours, illustrations and background scenes to really engage young children. These include, among others, Fantastic flowers, Scrumptious fruit, Busy bugs and Who's out at night?

Your child can follow (with an adult's help if necessary) the simple text on each page and accessorise the scenes appropriately using the stickers provided - the illustrations in the scenes are even labelled so that your child can learn about the natural world around them!

The colourful stickers can be found in the centre pages of the book (eight pages full in total), offering a wonderful array of detailed wildlife and garden accessories for your child to decorate the pages with. For ease, the stickers are grouped according to the different garden themes (with no two stickers the same) and further labels next to the stickers help your child identify what various items/creatures are.

The book is a really great size, and its pages are made from good quality thick paper. In addition, a useful contents page at the front of the book enables your child to go straight to their favourite theme!

In our opinion, this is a wonderfully interactive and very educational book from Usborne Books, that will be of great appeal to budding little gardeners. It is brilliantly illustrated with a really generous number of detailed stickers that are not only fun to use but also teach your child a lot about the natural world right on their doorstep!

BAD POINTS: None really, other than the stickers cannot be reused.
