GOOD POINTS: This is a wonderfully soft set of building bricks from the Sleepy Safari range which makes a lovely gift for any baby. The blocks are made from naturally coloured cotton jersey and so have subtle shades of creams, browns and greens which are suitable for either boy or girl.

The activity blocks are filled with polyester foam which makes them very easy for little hands to grab, hold and squeeze, and each makes either a jingling or rattling noise when shaken. Each block is unique in its design and features a range of different textures and patterns, as well as stitched numbers, letters and shapes for your child to discover and explore.

The blocks are great for simple stacking games, but also cleverly pair off into different animal themes, i.e. elephant, giraffe and lion, with one block the front end showing the animal’s face, and the other the back end with a knotted and very ‘pullable’ tag for the animals tail. Another nice feature is that each animal pair can be attached via a Velcro fastening, although of course the blocks can be paired in any combination of animal heads and tails!

In our opinion this is a very attractive product which is very well made and has some nice design features. The blocks are ideal for promoting visual and tactile stimulation and motor skills, as well as introducing your child to basic letters and numbers. The blocks come in a lovely presentation box which makes them an excellent gift.
