The Belly Bandit is based on the well-established belly binding concept, and is a one-piece breathable tailored compression wrap which fastened snuggly around your belly via a substantial Velcro strip, with the aim of assisting you in regaining your waistline. It is believed that increased and continual pressure around the abdomen helps reduce the swelling around the uterus, support your legs and back, decrease bloating caused by water retention, minimise stretch marks, and provide general support and comfort for breastfeeding.

The wrap is very durable and surprisingly lightweight. It is worn discretely under your normal clothes, and has a smooth rounded finish to prevent irritation of the skin. It is comfortable to wear all the time, without any impact on breathing or circulation, nor any discomfort in your ribs. The wrap can be worn immediately following the birth of your child. In order to get the maximum effects from the wrap, it is recommended that it is worn day and night (except for baths and showers) for at least six to eight weeks post delivery. Of course, maintaining a balanced diet and exercise will be beneficial alongside the use of the Belly Bandit in helping you to reach your pre-pregnancy figure.

In our opinion, the Belly Bandit is a great product which is attractively packaged, and is not only beneficial in helping you to redefine your natural proportions, but will importantly give new mums more confidence about their appearance.

BAD POINTS: The Belly Bandit is quite expensive, but is worth the money if it lives up to expectations. Also it can only be handwashed in cold water.
